What my results have shown

After careful evaluation of my results I have come to the following conclusions as to what to include in my film.

My results show that my target audience would expect to see voyeurism in a music video within the dance genre therefore, I will attempt to include aspects of this within my film.

A large majority of my target audience answered that they would expect to see effects used in a trance music video therefore, I intend to use some interesting editing techniques throughout in order to full fill this expectation.

Despite the most prominent result of the question “would you expect the video to focus around one person” being that it is unimportant; I have made the decision to cast a main character in order to ensure that I can base the plot around this person.

The results also showed that my target audience would not expect the plot to follow a set chronological order or a straightforward narrative, which leaves me with a lot of room to be creative and to use my film in order to portray a message rather than a story.

My results show an overwhelming majority expect the visuals to reflect the lyrics, which I intend to achieve with the use of a group of friends who have lost their way and need to be saved.

 Almost all of my results for the question “What setting would you most expect to see for a trance video?” state that my target audience would expect to see a club setting therefore; I will include this as a recurring theme throughout my film.
