Props list

Party scene:

The party scene is supposed to be busy, cramped and quite uncomfortable and disorientating therefore, I will need the following props in order to create this effect.

1) Multi coloured fairy lights
2) Strobe light
3) Flashing lights
4) Black light
5) Disco ball
6) Blacks (to cover the walls)

Friends bedroom scenes:

In the scenes following the party in which the group are winding down I really want to portray the sense of desolation and lack of purpose that the group are feeling and I feel that it is important to achieve this through the mise en scene therefore, I will need the following props.

1) Cans and alcohol bottles
2) Full ashtrays
3) Empty snack wrappers
4) Dirty clothes
5) Overflowing bin bags.
6) Peoples bags and belongings scattered around.
7) Mobile phones
8) Cigarettes
9) Duvet and blankets.

Family home:

For the living room in which the protagonist questions his choice of lifestyle, I really want to convey the differences between the homelife that he has been used to and the life that he has now chosen for himself, therefore, in order to contrast with the dirt and clutter of the friends bedroom, I want this room to feel cosy and homely and I will need the appropriate props in order to create this effect.

1) Family photo
2) Antique arm chair
3) Chest of drawers
4) Table lamp.

Protagonists bedroom:

For the protagonists bedroom I want to create the effect of a room that still reflects his childhood and has been a place of many happy memories.

1) Bright cartoon posters
2) Book case with books and puzzles on it
3) Aftershaves
4) Religious items such as a cross and religious tablet with and inspirational philosophy.

Cellar:

For this scene I want to convey how completely desolate his life has become therefore, I want to keep the cellar quite bare with only the use of essentials such as;

1) Sleeping bag
2) Carrier bad with belongings in it
3) warm coat
4) Portable lantern
